Choosing Seaside Lounge for the Green Screening project was when it all came together really, as Charles and Josh run a very professional business, with real audio integrity and musicianship built into every session, but they also love mad little ideas and experiments with equipment and creativity. Once they got their heads around the concept of us redecorating Studio B with about 500 square foot of green screen and recording 28 acts in the space of one week, they were perfect hosts in accommodating all the requests of the acts and crew and mastering a top quality set of tracks.

The whole studio space feels like a cozy Brooklyn apartment full of amazing kit and curious with a Saloon-style Tack Piano, crazy wallpaper, and an owl lamp. They have recorded some incredible acts in recent years, and the phone was constantly ringing when we were there, so if you're in a band, check out what they've got and book now!

Ben Cohen, James Higgs and Danielle DePalma were on hand for engineering, general interning and adding to the good vibes that resonate throughout this underground treasure trove in Park Slope. The studio is inside the MadArts warehouse center with many other artists' spaces, and it feels really part of a community. Eagle Provisions deli on the corner and Roots coffee shop down the street make this a geographically perfect location.

Along with the laid-back warmth and humor, a political streak is evident too as the guys have pin boards and notices on their site declaring a love for Stewart/Colbert, with a healthy skepticism of processed foods and corporate greed. Right on.

Thanks again to Charles "organic orange juice" Burst, Josh "paddle hands" Clark and Jon "choco snaffle" Altschuler who recorded and mixed all songs for Green-Screening.
